Return and refund policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to all products purchased online via poshcyprus.com by consumers (i.e. non-business customers) within Cyprus and the European Union.
2. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
- As a consumer purchasing via distance contract (online), you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods, without giving any reason.
- To exercise this right you must inform us (via email or contact form) of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires.
- After notifying us, you must return the goods to us within 14 calendar days of your notification.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases (for example: customised / tailor-made products, sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene or health reasons once unsealed). Refer to the exclusions in section 7.
3. Return Process
- Please contact us at support@poshcyprus.com (or via the contact form) stating your order number, product(s) you wish to return and reason for return.
- You must return the goods in their original condition, unused, unwashed, with all labels attached, and in the original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).
- You are responsible for paying the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are defective or incorrectly supplied (see section 6).
4. Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the returned goods and confirm they meet the return conditions, we will process the refund.
- Refunds will be made via your original payment method within 14 calendar days of us receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have dispatched them.
- We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof of return.
- The refund will include the price of the goods; however, if you selected a more expensive delivery option than our standard, we may deduct the extra cost of the non-standard delivery.
5. Exchanges & Store Credit
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or colour, you may do so, subject to availability. Please contact us to check availability and arrange the return and resend.
- Alternatively, you may request store credit valid for 12 months, which will be issued once we receive the returned goods in acceptable condition.
6. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
- If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, please contact us immediately (within 14 days of receipt) with photographic evidence.
- We will arrange for the issue to be remedied by way of:
- repair of the goods, or
- replacement with equivalent goods, or
- full refund if repair/replacement is not possible.
- In such cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Under EU law and Cyprus national law, you have a legal guarantee for a minimum period (in Cyprus typically 2 years) for goods which do not conform.
7. Exclusions & Special Conditions
The right of withdrawal (free return without reason) does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer’s specification or clearly personalised.
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed (e.g., underwear, swimwear if worn).
- Goods which become mixed inseparably with other items after delivery.
- Items that are perishable or have a short shelf-life.
- Items sealed whose authenticity would be jeopardised by opening (e.g., sealed audio or video recordings, sealed computer software) if unsealed by you.
- If we have clearly informed you and you agreed that we start performance of the service / order prior to the end of the withdrawal period and you acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once we complete the full service.
Please note: If you return goods after the 14-day cooling period, we reserve the right to accept or refuse the return at our discretion (unless they are faulty). In this case any refund may be subject to deduction for diminished value of the goods.
8. Shipping & Return Costs
- For non-faulty returns (i.e., exercising the right of withdrawal), you are responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise agreed.
- We recommend you use a tracked shipping method; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
- For defective or incorrect items, we will refund or cover the return shipping costs.
9. Timeframe for Refunds
Refunds will typically be made within 14 calendar days after we receive the returned goods or (if earlier) after you provide proof of dispatch. The refund amount will reflect the price paid, less any allowed deductions as above.
10. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective when posted on the website.
